Job summary

Google Payments is seeking software engineers to help secure and scale payment infrastructure. You will work on backend systems, perform security assessments, and implement robust defenses to protect user data and transactions.

We value hands-on experience in securing applications, conducting design reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance security practices across Google Payments. Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with security in attacks and mitigation methods.

• Write and review backend infrastructure code.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
• Perform technical security assessments, code audits and design reviews.
• Develop technical solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities.
• Advocate security and secure practices throughout Google Payments.
