Job summary

Trust Recruit Pte Ltd is recruiting a software engineer to develop, maintain and modernize enterprise systems across legacy and modernised components. You will handle complex business workflows, data processing, reporting, and system integrations while contributing to digital transformation initiatives and API enablement.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong programming skills in Java/JSP/JavaScript, and experience with Oracle, WebLogic, Tomcat, Spring Boot and Angular.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of software engineering, application maintenance, or enterprise system development.
• Strong programming and debugging skills in Java, JSP, JavaScript, SQL/PL-SQL, shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain software for core systems across legacy and modern components.
• Work on complex business workflows including data processing, reporting and integrations.
• Analyse and implement changes in tightly coupled environments with multiple interfaces.
• Support modernization initiatives such as platform upgrades, refactoring, and API enablement.
• Contribute to digital transformation and automation to improve usability and efficiency.
• Participate in incident investigation, root cause analysis and production support.
