Job summary

RRECRUITER INT PTE. LTD. is seeking a software engineer to develop and maintain control software for industrial machines in Singapore.

You will work on PLC/HMI integration, motion control, and sensor interfaces, ensuring robust performance across production environments. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in machine software or automation, strong programming in C/C++, C#, or Python, and a willingness to travel for commissioning and support.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in CS, SWE, Mechatronics, E/E Eng or related field.
• 2–5 years in machine software, automation, or industrial control systems.
• Proficiency in C/C++, C#, Python or similar languages.
• Knowledge of PLC, HMI, motion control or machine automation is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain software for industrial machines and manufacturing equipment.
• Develop and enhance machine control software, HMI, and equipment interfaces.
• Program and integrate PLCs, motion control systems, sensors, and other automation components.
• Troubleshoot software and equipment issues to improve machine performance and reliability.
• Support machine installation, commissioning, testing, and debugging at customer or production sites.
• Integrate machine software with MES, databases, and factory automation systems where required.
• Work closely with Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, and Production teams to deliver machine solutions.
• Perform software testing, validation, and system integration before machine deployment.
• Prepare software specifications, technical documentation, and troubleshooting guides.
• Support machine upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement projects.

• Knowledge of PLC, HMI, motion control, or machine automation is highly preferred.
• Experience with industrial communication protocols and equipment integration is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working closely with hardware, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams.
• Willing to support machine testing, commissioning, and occasional travel when required.
