Job summary

DRW is offering a Software Engineer Intern (Data Engineering) position in Singapore. You will join the Commodities trading group to build data pipelines for ingestion and analysis of datasets, collaborating with senior data engineers and stakeholders across projects.

You will primarily develop ETL pipelines in Python, gain exposure to both legacy and greenfield data infrastructure, and contribute to data-driven decisions while learning the city and the firm’s fast-paced culture.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, mathematics or any related science discipline and have an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028
• Knowledge and experience with Relational databases (Postgres preferred)
• Knowledge and experience with Pandas
• Exhibit excellent software development skills in Python and a deep curiosity to learn and absorb new technologies quickly
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

As a Software Engineer Intern (Data Engineering), you'll join the Commodities trading group to build data pipelines for the ingestion and analysis of datasets. The role entails working closely with senior data engineers and key stakeholders across both green field and established projects. Initially it will be focused on getting data to our analysts, with opportunities to help design and build the core data infrastructure used across the group as your experience grows. While your days will have you engrossed with complex quantitative trading projects, your evenings will be spent exploring the city with organized social events to truly discover what it’s like to live and work in Singapore.
