Job summary

IDEMIA Public Security is seeking an Intern/Apprentice who will transform requirements into software according to design, focusing on maximizing business value and customer satisfaction. You will contribute to building robust software and learn best practices across the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities include coding with programming, scripting and database languages, reusing components, performing estimations, and supporting testing, deployment, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Experience writing software code from requirements.
• Knowledge of software development best practices including coding standards, secure coding, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations.

Responsibilities

• Transforms requirements into software according to design to maximize business value and customer satisfaction.
• Uses programming, scripting and database languages to write software code that meets requirements and optimizes performance.
• Identifies existing software components, libraries and frameworks to reuse in solutions.
• Contributes to requirement analysis and estimations (functional and non-functional).
• Supports software testing, deployment, maintenance and evolution by correcting programming errors and responding to scope changes.
• Builds up software structure including functions, design patterns, layers, etc.
• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing code comments, layouts, diagrams and charts.
