Overview

Responsibilities

• Diploma / Higher NITEC / NITEC in Engineering.
• Experience in the design, installation, programming, maintenance and repairs of Conventional & Addressable Fire Alarm System.
• Able to interpret Fire Alarm Schematic Diagrams.
• Experience in CAD is advantageous.
• Class 3 driving license.
• Able to work in construction sites and over weekends.
• Install, test and commission company equipment at customers’ sites.
• Check and monitor the performance of the installed system.
• As Mechanical Equipment Engineer, you are responsible for using discipline knowledge and design experience related to static equipment, utilities equipment.
• Manage new handler buy-off lifecycle including documentation, system updates, procedure standardization, matrix maintenance & change control.
• Project execution planning and scheduling based on Critical Path Method (CPM).
• Project Cost estimation for the various stages of project and for proposals.
• Responsible for engaging and communicating with stakeholders to deliver project milestones and comply with strict deadlines.
• Able to design and project manage, monitor site progress of work.
• Willing to work island-wide.
• Prescribe workscope for engine overhaul or rectification.
• Liaise with customers on engine condition and technical issues.
• To assist the Project Manager to lead site construction team in ensuring smooth execution of work.
• Coordinate and supervise project work on various sites.
• Assist Project Manager to plan overall schedule and tracking and prioritize job card sequence and methodology according to contractual requirements and onboard.
