Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Software Engineer II to join the Corporate and Investment Banking Technology's Glass Liquidity and Cash management team. You will contribute to designing and building secure, scalable software components for our financial solutions.

The role emphasizes SDLC practices, automated testing, and collaboration across teams using Java 8+, Spring Boot, REST, SQL, and modern front-end tools. You will work in a large corporate environment valuing resilience and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent.
• 2+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with design, development, testing, and operations.
• Proficient in modern languages and databases.
• Familiar with the full SDLC.
• Exposure to CI/CD, security, and resiliency.
• Knowledge of cloud/AI/ML basics is a plus.
• Experience building microservices with Java 8+, Spring Boot, REST, SQL, React/Angular.
• Strong automated testing focus using JUnit/Mockito.
• Proficient with Git, Maven, Jenkins.
