Job summary

TikTok is hiring a Software Engineer for the Global E-Commerce Business Platform. You will own end-to-end data applications supporting cost analysis and merchant insights, building data pipelines and a Promotion Data Platform.

You will collaborate with Product, Operations and Data Science to design metric frameworks, improve data quality, and explore AI-enabled automation across live and short-video commerce. Join a global team expanding TikTok Shop worldwide.

Qualifications

• Foundation: Bachelor's or higher in CS/IT/Systems Analysis or related field, with solid practical ability (≥4 years) in back-end, front-end or data development.
• Tech stack: Full-stack: Go/Python/Java with React; Data track: Hive/Spark/Flink/ClickHouse.
• Business understanding: Grasp marketing, user growth, ROI, experiments, strategy and solve problems with tech.
• Professional qualities: Strong numerical intuition, data accuracy, collaboration with Product/Operations/Data Science.
• Embrace AI: Leverage AI to improve R&D efficiency and drive AI adoption.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end cost-efficiency data applications and services for platform and merchants; develop front-end and back-end products.
• Build the Promotion Data Platform with data warehouse modeling and data pipelines.
• Work with Product, Operations and Data Science to build metric frameworks and data products; explore AI applications in cost analysis.
