About the role

VSTECS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a talented Software Engineer (Database) to join our team in the Lavender Central Region. As a full-time Software Engineer (Database), you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our robust database systems, ensuring the seamless operation of our business-critical applications.

What you’ll be doing

1. Design, implement, and optimise database solutions to support our diverse range of software applications
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address complex business requirements
3. Develop and maintain efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and other database objects
4. Perform database performance tuning, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
5. Participate in the planning and implementation of database migrations, upgrades, and backups
6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our database architecture and development processes

What we’re looking for

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
2. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer or Database Developer
