Job summary

A leading automation company in Singapore is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement software for high-speed automated equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in engineering, strong programming skills in C/C++, and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include providing technical support and maintaining existing software systems. Opportunities for travel and overtime may arise.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in software development in the automation / semiconductor industry.
• Strong hands-on experience in programming multi-threaded Windows applications using Visual C++.
• Good knowledge of electronic components and motion control.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, debug, and validate software.

Requirements

• Degree in any Engineering discipline with minimum 3 years of experience in software development in the automation / semiconductor industry
• Strong programming skills in C / C++
• Must have good hands-on experience in programming multi-threaded windows application using Visual C++
• Good knowledge of electronic components, motion control and interfacing with inspection systems
• Strong Mathematical and Algorithmic development skills
• Proficient in English (both written and spoken)

Additional info

• Travel overseas for field support when required
• Supporting overtime when necessary
