Job summary

Google is seeking software engineers to join the Android App Safety Engineering Content Abuse Team. You will develop core software infrastructure and ML models to detect and enforce policies on malicious apps, while collaborating with engineers, PMs, analysts, and policy experts.

This role involves handling large-scale systems, AI/ML, and counter-abuse solutions across Android. You will balance global regulatory criteria and deliver robust technical protections for users worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• Experience or interest working in the Anti-Abuse, Trust and Safety domains.
• Full-stack software engineering experience (back-end, front-end, applied ML).
• Interest/experience applying AI/ML and Large Language Models (LLMs) to abuse detection.
