Job summary

Dell Technologies Singapore seeks a Software Engineer 2 to join the Global Test Engineering team and help deliver next-generation software for client platforms, peripherals and diagnostics.

You will develop scripts, implement test strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure quality and timely delivery using modern tools and software engineering methodologies.

Qualifications

• Proficient Python programming and OS-level understanding of Windows.
• Experience coding/debugging software using design specifications.
• Ability to learn new tools/languages with training and on-the-job experience.
• 2–5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

What you’ll achieve
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing scripts and software systems for client platforms, including unit testing and debugging, based on the customer’s business goals.

You will:

• Participate in the preparation, review and evaluation of software requirements and specifications
• Prepare written specifications for tasks of varied complexity from verbal requirements
• Use defined software lifecycle methodologies
• Review and implement test strategies for software products
