Job description

Responsibilities:

• Lead container orchestration initiatives by deploying and maintaining mission-critical workloads on Kubernetes and Helm.
• Design and optimize Terraform modules and manage Terraform Cloud for enterprise-grade infrastructure provisioning.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, and integrate automated testing, code quality scanning, and secure image delivery.
• Develop and operate observability stacks like Grafana, Prometheus, custom exporters for cloud-native and legacy systems.
• Lead migration initiatives (cloud-to-cloud, on-prem to cloud) include Terraform state migration and workload modernization.
• Configure and optimize ingress controllers, API gateways, load balancers, and network security policies across AWS and GCP.
• Automate operational workflows using Ansible, Python, and shell scripting for environment configuration, backup, and recovery.
• Lead post-incident investigations into critical outages, driving long-term remediation and systemic reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to streamline DevOps culture, enforce IaC best practices, and improve developer productivity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or a related technical field
• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, or Software Engineering roles with strong focus on automation and cloud platforms.
• Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, and container lifecycle management.
• Strong hands-on experience in Terraform, Terraform Cloud, Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Hands-on with writing new and improving exisiting automation scripting like Python, Shell, VBScript.
• Demonstrated capability in building and scaling production-grade AWS environments with strong proficiency across compute, storage, networking, identity, and messaging services.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, and related tools.
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting systems e.g Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack.
• Strong background in Linux system administration, networking like DNS, SMTP, Nginx, Apache, and security hardening.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot legacy systems (Windows/DB2) and integrate them into modern observability stacks.
