Job summary

Ascendze Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and implement software for robotic automation. You will participate in full project lifecycles, write robust code, and ensure quality through testing and documentation.

The role requires 4–5 years in semiconductor equipment or robotic automation, strong skills in .NET/.NET Core, C#, Python or Java, and knowledge of MSSQL and front-end tech. Occasional overseas deployment may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in a relevant engineering or computer science field.
• 4–5 years of software development experience in semiconductor equipment and robotic automation.
• Proficient in .NET/.NET Core, C#, Python, or Java.
• Strong understanding of MSSQL databases and front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement software solutions for robotic automation.
• Write, test, and document program code to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Participate in full project life cycle activities including requirements gathering, implementation, maintenance, and support.
• Develop secure, scalable application programs and APIs within allocated timelines.
• Deliver zero-defect code and ensure compliance with SLA expectations.
• Participate in CI and automation frameworks for testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
• Adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Prepare for overseas deployment for software testing as required.

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum 4-5 years of software development experience in semiconductor equipment and robotic automation
• Proficient in .NET, .NET Core, C#, Python, or Java programming languages
• Strong understanding of databases such as MSSQL and front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
