Job summary

Newtone consulting is seeking a Software Developer in Singapore to develop and maintain enterprise applications and integration components across backend, API, messaging, database, and web technologies. You will support the full software delivery lifecycle and work on REST APIs and system interfaces.

The role requires 3+ years of software development experience with Java and/or .NET C#. Familiarity with ASP.NET/Web API, IIS or WebLogic, RabbitMQ, and CI/CD is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of software development experience.
• Experience with Java and/or .NET C# development.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, ASP.NET/Web API, and IIS or WebLogic deployment.
• Basic understanding of RabbitMQ or messaging/queue processing.
• Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps, HA, performance tuning, or containers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain application modules and backend services.
• Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, and bug fixing.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and system interfaces.
• Support integration testing and application deployments.
• Work with messaging and queue-based integrations.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
