Job summary

IDEMIA Public Security is seeking a developer who translates requirements into working software in line with design to maximize business value and customer satisfaction.

The role covers coding with programming, scripting and database languages, applying best practices, conducting code reviews, and supporting testing, deployment and maintenance activities. An intern/apprentice path is available within a collaborative team in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Writes code using programming, scripting and DB languages to meet requirements and optimize performance.
• Identifies reusable components, libraries and frameworks.
• Applies software development best practices: coding standards, secure coding, code reviews, SCM, build, test, operations.
• Contributes to functional and non-functional requirement analysis and estimations.
• Supports testing, deployment, maintenance and evolution by fixing bugs and handling scope changes.
• Builds software structure with functions, design patterns and layers.
• Documents solutions with comments, layouts, diagrams and charts.

Key Missions

• Uses programming, scripting and database languages to write software code that meets requirements and that optimizes software performances
• Identifies existing software components, libraries and frameworks to reuse in the solutions
• Applies knowledge of software development best practices, including coding standards, secure coding, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Contributes to requirement (functional and non-functional) analysis and estimations
• Supports software testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding software enhancements
• Builds up software structure including functions, design patterns, layers, etc.
• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing code comments, layouts, diagrams and charts
