Job summary

A leading consulting company in Singapore is looking for an Application Developer to work with the Delivery Manager to implement applications and support business needs. Candidates should have a strong background in J2EE/JEE, experience with back-end and front-end frameworks, and good communication skills. This role requires 3-5 years in application development and a solid understanding of software development life cycles.

Qualifications

• Possess good technical knowledge in J2EE/JEE.
• Experience in back-end frameworks/technologies such as Spring boot, Hibernate.
• Experience in databases such as Oracle, MS SQL.
• Experience in front-end frameworks/technologies such as AngularJS, ReactJS and NodeJS is an added advantage.
• Familiar with use of DevOps and tools.

Job description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You will work with the team's Delivery Manager to develop and implement applications to support business needs.
• Liaise with the infrastructure support and development teams.
• Monitor and manage the production support to ensure incidents and problems are managed within set SLAs.
• Ensure adherence of development practice (Waterfall and Agile), standards and updated documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess good technical knowledge in J2EE/JEE.
• Experience in back-end frameworks/technologies such as Spring boot, Hibernate.
• Experience in databases such as Oracle, MS SQL.
• Experience in front-end frameworks/technologies such as AngularJS, ReactJS and NodeJS is an added advantage.
• Familiar with use of DevOps and tools.
• Good communication, strong analytical, problem solving and presentation skills.

EDUCATION / LANGUAGE:

Diploma/Degree holder in Information Technology, Info Systems or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

• Between 3 – 5 years of Application Development or Post-production support experiences.
• Good understanding of software development life cycle models (both Waterfall and Agile).
• Experience in setting up DevOps is preferred.
