Job description

Overview

This is an opportunity to directly work in a public sector company.

The successful candidate will support an in-house web application, and manage data workflows using Tableau, Databricks, and AWS.

Responsibilities

• To support in-house web application.
• Scope includes but not limited to change management, incident management and application patching due to security vulnerabilities.
• Ensure incidents resolved within agreed service level
• Maintain proper documentation of application
• Involved in improvement initiatives to existing in-house web application or building new websites on need to basis to support new business requirement.
• Ensure security controls and good coding practices are implemented into application.
• Complete change request
• Optimise application performance when required

Requirements

• Bachelor in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience on web application solution, with at least 1 year experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining IT systems
• Experience in backend development using C# and SQL.
• Able to maintain and do solutioning to the website / portal.
• Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
• Familiarity with Tableau, powerbricks, AWS is preferred but not mandatory
• Knowledge of coding languages (C#, MVC, ReactjS), SQL
• Experience with database and Object-Relational Mapping framework
• Ability to learn new languages and technologies
• Good communication Skills
• Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
