Qualifications

Job description

Objectives of this Role:

• Design, develop, and secure backend infrastructure using modern PHP frameworks (Laravel/Symfony).
• Ensure API reliability, security, and scalability to support growing user traffic and new feature development.
• Contribute to system architecture, code quality, and compliance with cybersecurity and data protection standards (e.g., PCI DSS, ISO 27001).

Responsibilities:

• Develop secure and optimized APIs and backend logic using PHP.
• Create and manage relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), including schema design and complex query optimization.
• Implement and maintain secure session handling, input validation, encryption, and access control mechanisms.
• Conduct unit and integration tests (PHPUnit) and participate in peer code reviews.
• Work with DevOps engineers to support containerization (ocker) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain technical documentation, API schemas, and compliance-related audit logs.
  Integrate external services via RESTful APIs and develop internal services for data exchange.
• Contribute to incident response processes, backend security audits, and log integrity checks.
• Stay updated on PHP ecosystem trends, OWASP practices, and backend security frameworks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
