The Opportunity

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, and update software; enhance existing capabilities.
• Implement and test components based on functional specifications.
• Prepare technical specifications from functional requirements and architecture.
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate hardware/software systems.
• Liaise with business analysts on requirements and contribute to technical design.
• Analyze user needs and develop solutions; provide technical support for escalated issues.
• Draft specifications, technical design, unit tests, peer reviews, and integration documents.
• Maintain high delivery standards and propose solutions based on best practices.
• Perform Level 3 production support, analyzing and resolving issues promptly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Cobol and Pro*C.
• Technical skills: Micro Focus COBOL, C, Pro*C, Shell scripting, SQL/PL-SQL, Oracle, GitLab
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Maven, CI/CD, MQ and CFT integration
• Functional: Banking knowledge is a plus.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proactive, autonomous, and problem-solving mindset.
• Experience in LEAN environments; effective team collaboration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; open to learning new technologies.
