Job summary

Razer in Singapore is seeking a highly motivated Software (Cloud) Intern to contribute to the design, prototyping, implementation, and optimization of cloud backend services and internal admin platforms that support our operations.

You will work with a global engineering team, gain exposure to Linux, Docker, serverless cloud environments, CI/CD, and Agile processes like SCRUM using JIRA, while applying AI/ML tools to improve capabilities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree or diploma in CS, CE, or IS.
• Familiarity with Go, Python, or Node.js.
• Comfortable with Linux shell.
• Basic understanding of HTTP/REST and networking.
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes is a bonus.
• Available for full-time 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable cloud-based APIs and backend services
• Develop and enhance internal portals to support evolving business requirements
• Implement frontend features and dashboards to support operational and business workflows
• Contribute to frontend development under the guidance and mentorship of senior engineers
• Develop scripts to automate operational and maintenance tasks

Job Responsibilities :

We are seeking a highly motivated Software (Cloud) Intern to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, prototyping, implementation, and optimization of cloud backend services and internal admin platforms that support our business operations.Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable cloud-based APIs and backend services
• Develop and enhance internal portals to support evolving business requirements

The intern will gain exposure in

• Linux systems and Docker containerization
• Development in a serverless cloud environment
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
• Agile development using JIRA and SCRUM methodologies

Pre-Requisites

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's Degree / Diploma students in Computer Science, Computer Eng, Information Systems or related field
• Familiarity with at least 1 of this programming language: Go, Python, Node.js
• Comfortable using Linux Shell
• Basic understanding of Web protocols and technologies such as HTTP, RESTful services, TCP/IP networking
• Basic understanding of containers like Docker or Kubernetes will be a bonus
• Interns who are able to commit full-time for a minimum of 6 months are preferred
