Job description

Responsibilities

• Oversee the acquisition, design, and development of software systems across organisational units.
• Monitor and ensure the quality, performance, and effectiveness of software solutions and projects.
• Lead the development of Proof-of-Concept (POC) solutions and provide technical expertise on software and platform features.
• Ensure appropriate security, compliance, and risk considerations are embedded in all solutions.
• Configure applications to meet client requirements using Microsoft Dynamics CRM Customization Tools, Workflow Tools, and SDK.
• Evaluate out-of-the-box Dynamics CRM capabilities and determine when custom development is required.
• Identify creative and efficient workarounds to meet business requirements while minimizing or avoiding custom code.
• Design and integrate business processes and data flows between CRM and other systems such as ERP and back-office applications.
• Develop and execute data conversion, migration, and testing strategies.
• Manage large-scale data migrations from legacy systems using technologies such as Azure Logic Apps.
• Create high-level project work plans, timelines, and delivery milestones.
• Manage project scope, delivery expectations, and team budgets.
• Lead client meetings and facilitate strategy and solution design sessions, reporting directly to the Project Manager.
• Lead and participate in Scrum ceremonies with offshore and onsite development teams.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and supervision to development teams.
• Conduct functional and technical training for client personnel on system usage and administration.

Requirements

Technical

• Strong experience in enterprise software development and solution architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM (customisation, workflows, SDK).
• Experience in systems integration (CRM, ERP, back-office systems).
• Solid knowledge of data migration, cloud platforms (e.g. Azure), and security best practices.

Leadership & Professional

• Proven experience leading and managing software development teams.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience managing project scope, budgets, and delivery timelines.
• Comfortable operating in both strategic and hands‑on technical roles.

Experience

• 7–10+ years of experience in software development or IT delivery.
• At least 3–5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
• Strong balance of technical depth and people leadership.
