Job description

Are you ready to be part of a bold movement to break the cycle of poverty through sustainable home ownership? As a Social Work Associate / Home Ownership Associate under the Home Ownership Vertical at SCC, you will work closely in a team with the Social Worker / Home Ownership Specialist to empower low-income families in public rental housing to not only survive - but thrive. It is a unique opportunity to partner with families who present low to moderate risk but face barriers to achieving long-term stability and home ownership.

In this role, you will support the service delivery under the KeyStart Home Ownership Programme and/or Fresh Start Support Programme. You’ll work collaboratively with families and ecosystem partners (such as ComLink+) to build the families’ stability in key areas: employment, financial resilience, family functioning, and children’s education - culminating in sustainable ownership of a home they can call their own. Your interventions will be holistic and future-focused and help guide families in achieving tangible and lasting progress through leveraging on national programmes like the Fresh Start Housing Scheme, ComLink+ Progress Packages, and KeyStart Home Ownership Programme.

This role is for someone who is deeply passionate about transformation - someone who sees the potential in every family and has the heart, vision, and skills to walk alongside them toward a better future. This is an entry pathway into the social services, offering hands‑on experience with families, exposure to housing and social policies, and opportunities to grow in capability under the mentorship of experienced practitioners. You’ll be part of a dynamic team committed to long‑term family transformation and social mobility. If you believe that home ownership can be a catalyst for dignity, stability, and hope - this role is your chance to make it a reality for those who want it most.
