Job Summary

We are looking for a Social Work Associate (Children & Families) to support and deliver children and family programmes, including THRIVE and Club Explore. This role involves engaging children and caregivers, managing programme delivery, administration, and logistics.

Responsibilities

Programme Delivery & Engagement

  • Plan and deliver THRIVE and Club Explore sessions and activities to meet programme goals
  • Engage children and families respectfully and with a strengths-based approach to build trust and participation
  • Facilitate group activities and manage on-site programme operations to ensure smooth session flow
  • Identify participant needs and promptly report concerns to the Social Worker or Departmental Head

Administration & Coordination

  • Manage programme administration tasks including attendance tracking, enrolment processing, consent form collection, and record keeping
  • Communicate clearly with parents and caregivers by sending updates, reminders, and session information
  • Support documentation and data tracking to assist in programme monitoring and reporting

Events & Logistics

  • Organise and execute programme-related events such as family activities, excursions, and holiday programmes
  • Coordinate logistics including venue setup, materials preparation, transport arrangements, refreshments, and vendor liaison
  • Collaborate with volunteers and partners to ensure safe and efficient event operations
Required competencies and certifications
  • Diploma in Social Work (minimum qualification)

  • Experience engaging children and families in social service, school, student care, or community settings
  • Strong organisational skills demonstrated by managing multiple tasks and timelines effectively
