The Role

As a Social Media Executive, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, managing client accounts, and overseeing content creation to ensure client objectives are met. You will play a key role in account servicing and maintaining strong client relationships.

Your responsibilities include:

Account Management & Strategy
  • Developing comprehensive social media strategies aligned with client goals and brand guidelines.
  • Managing multiple client accounts, ensuring timely delivery of content and reports.
  • Conducting competitive analysis and market research to identify trends and opportunities for clients.
  • Developing and presenting social media pitches and proposals for existing and potential clients.
  • Tracking and analysing social media performance metrics, generating reports, and providing actionable insights to clients.
  • Liaising with clients, providing regular updates, addressing feedback, and building strong, collaborative relationships.
  • Handling client inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
Content & Community Management
  • Collaborating with the creative team (eg. art directors, producers, designers, content creators) to develop creative ideas, storyboards, and scripts for social media content, primarily focusing on Reels and TikToks.
  • Ensuring content aligns with client briefs, objectives, and the latest social media trends.
  • Overseeing the execution, scheduling, and posting of approved content across various social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, Emplifi, etc.).
    • Going on shoots, creating content and collaborating with creatives in the team on content for clients.
    • Editing content for social media content retainers (iPhone shoots & CapCut/Canva is ok)
  • Monitoring social media channels for engagement, responding to comments and messages, and fostering online communities.
  • Staying up-to-date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
General Responsibilities
  • Managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of organisation and attention to detail.
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth workflow from strategy to content delivery.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in social media management and account servicing (for experienced applicants)
  • Strong understanding of creating integrated content across digital and social platforms.
  • Deep knowledge of social media trends, especially on TikTok and Instagram. (if you don’t know the latest trends and memes please don’t apply)
  • Ability to translate client briefs and objectives into effective social media strategies and content solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
  • Resourceful and independent working style, able to cope well under pressure.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in video editing on TikTok & CapCut.
  • Proficiency in using social media management platforms like Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, or Emplifi.
Good to have
  • Familiarity with video editing and image editing (Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom) and a keen creative eye to understand content creation workflows
