Job description

We are looking for an early- mid career Social Media and Branding Strategist who lives and breathes content. Your core mission is to plan, create and manage UPPF’s social media calendar and content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and others as relevant).

This is not a pure “strategy” role. You will be personally producing a large volume of content: editing short videos, designing posts in Canva (comfort with using Canva a must), and working closely with our brand ambassadors and dealer partners.

If you are creative, organised, comfortable with AI tools (this is a must), and excited by cars and car culture, this role is for you.

We seek personnel who are in based in Singapore / Southeast Asia, who will collaborate with branding and marketing team members across Singapore, Shanghai, Houston and Jakarta.

Key Responsibilities
Content & Calendar Management
  • Own and maintain UPPF’s global social media content calendar.
  • Turn brand and campaign objectives into weekly / monthly content plans.
  • Coordinate posting schedules across time zones and platforms.
Content Creation (Hands-On)
  • Conceptualise, storyboard and produce short-form video (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) and image content.
  • Design social content using Canva (stories, carousels, thumbnails, simple infographics, dealer spotlights, etc.).
  • Capture raw content at car workshops, events, trade shows and photoshoots when required.
  • Use AI tools (e.g. for caption ideation, repurposing content, simple photo/video enhancements) to speed up production while maintaining brand tone.
Community & Brand Ambassador Management
  • Engage daily with our community: reply to comments/DMs, reshare partner content, and nurture relationships with installers and distributors.
  • Manage and support UPPF brand ambassadors and key creators:
  • Coordinate content deliverables and timelines
  • Provide clear briefs and assets
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual style
  • Identify potential new ambassadors and partners in key markets.
Analytics & Optimisation
  • Track performance of posts and campaigns (reach, engagement, clicks, saves, shares, follower growth).
  • Report insights and propose clear, practical actions to improve content and channel performance.
  • Run simple A/B tests on formats, hooks, thumbnails and posting times.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Global Brand & Marketing Director on campaign ideas and brand storytelling.
  • Coordinate with sales / distributor teams to support launches, promotions and key events (e.g. trade shows, new product releases).
  • Maintain an organised content library (B-roll, photos, templates, captions) for easy reuse.
Requirements
  • 2– 4+ years of experience in social media management, content creation or a closely related role.
  • Strong portfolio of past work (social feeds, campaigns, Reels/TikTok, YouTube clips, etc.) demonstrating your creative range and execution.
  • Proficiency in Canva is a must: you should be fast and confident creating on-brand social graphics.
  • Comfortable using AI tools (for copy, basic visual touch-ups, idea generation, repurposing content).
    Hands‑on experience with at least 2–3 major platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn).
  • Solid understanding of current social media trends, short‑form video best practices, and basic analytics.
  • Strong written English; able to write clear, concise captions and hooks suitable for car enthusiasts, installers and dealers.
  • A genuine people person: able to build rapport with brand ambassadors, installers, partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, self‑driven and comfortable working in a small, fast‑moving team with limited layers of support.
Bonus Points
  • Passion for cars, motorsport, car culture or aftermarket automotive products.
  • Experience working with B2B brands, distributors, or franchise / dealer networks.
  • Basic video editing skills (e.g. CapCut, Premiere Rush, Final Cut, etc.).
  • Experience with paid social campaigns or boosting content.
  • Ability to create content in or adapt for multiple languages / markets is a plus.
