Zenith Infotech (S) PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain Snowflake-based data pipelines and models for analysts, data scientists, and business teams.

You will turn raw data from multiple sources into trusted datasets, collaborate with stakeholders, and help shape engineering standards as the platform grows.

Strong SQL, Python, Snowflake expertise, and experience with orchestration tools like Airflow or Prefect are required for this hands-on role.

Competenze

• 3 to 7 years of professional experience in data engineering or closely related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data loading, performance tuning, and cost management.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, window functions, CTEs, and query optimization.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT patterns, and data modelling.
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Mansioni

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data into Snowflake.
• Develop and optimize data models to support analytics and reporting.
• Write efficient SQL and Python for transformation and orchestration.
• Use Snowflake features like Snowpipe, Streams and Tasks, Time Travel, and Stored Procedures.
• Monitor and tune Snowflake performance and cost including warehouse sizing and query optimization.
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and lineage.
• Apply data security and governance practices including RBAC and masking policies.
• Orchestrate workflows using Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, product managers, and engineers to meet requirements.
• Contribute to documentation, code reviews, CI/CD practices, and platform improvements.
