Job summary

Avensys Consulting Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer (Snowflake) to modernise an enterprise data warehouse to a cloud-native analytics platform on AWS. You will build and support reliable ingestion and ELT pipelines, dimensional models, and production-ready data solutions.

Work closely with senior engineers, architects, QA, and BI users through design, development, testing, deployment and handover. 3+ years in data engineering and Snowflake experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data engineering or data warehousing.
• Hands-on Snowflake or rapid ramp-up to Snowflake.
• Strong SQL skills with advanced joins and window functions.
• Understanding of dimensional modelling concepts.
• Experience with ETL/ELT data pipelines and production workflows.
• Ability to work in a delivery team and own datasets.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data pipelines and Snowflake data warehouse layers.
• Implement ingestion and orchestration using Snowflake features.
• Develop dimensional models with fact and dimension tables.
• Write optimized SQL for transformations and performance.
• Implement data quality, logging, and error handling.
• Support rerun, recovery, and replay for failed data.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects, follow standards.
