Job summary

WSAudiology in Singapore is seeking a manufacturing technician to support production line activities and process improvement initiatives. You will execute production buyoffs, troubleshoot quality issues with engineers, and provide daily reports to keep operations aligned with targets.

The role requires hands-on SMT experience, ability to read drawings, and strong attention to detail. You will also support new process setup and provide training on procedures to manufacturing staff.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in production and engineering
• Experience in SMT industry or related manufacturing
• Experience in Gas Coating Process or PCB coating equipment
• Strong technical skills with hands-on SMT machines
• Able to measure with calipers or digital microscope
• Able to read 2D/3D drawings and electrical circuit diagrams
• Good trouble-shooting or diagnostic skills on PCBA
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Good organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Execute production buyoff procedure and shop floor line support.
• Perform trouble shooting and analysis on internal / external product quality issue and work with engineers on corrective/preventive actions.
• Provide daily task report.
• Support projects ( SMART LEAN / CIP continuous improvement projects ), trial run and cost saving evaluation.
• Identify and monitor production process / machine parameters.
• Ensuring process checklist / logbooks are maintained.
• Support new process set up ( NPI ).
• Assist process documentation / Work Instruction and provide training to manufacturing personnel
• Able to do measurement for the 2nd source component trial run.
