Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from planning to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage overall construction activities at the project site.
- Lead and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth progress of work.
- Monitor project schedules, costs, and resources to achieve timely completion.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
- Prepare progress reports and attend site meetings with consultants and clients.
- Manage variation orders, claims, and resolve technical and site issues.
- Coordinate with design consultants, authorities, and stakeholders for project approvals and clearances.
- Implement and enforce safety and environmental management plans at the worksite.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in managing building or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and technical specifications.
- Proven experience in project planning, cost control, and contract administration.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiar with local construction regulations, authority submission processes, and safety standards.
- Proficient in MS Project / Primavera and other project management tools will be an advantage.
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
