Job summary

MARCHWOOD LABORATORY SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking personnel for watersampling and environmental testing tasks in Singapore. You will follow SOPs, maintain records daily, and observe safety procedures. Standby duty may be required.

We welcome diploma holders or recent graduates, including those with O-Levels/ITE. English communication is essential; driving license class 3 is preferred. Training is provided, with opportunities for career development and benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent; chemical, environmental or engineering fields advantageous.
• Training will be provided; fresh graduates welcome.
• ITE/O-Level with good science knowledge considered.
• Good English reading/writing and communication.
• Physically fit, team player with initiative and willingness to learn.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Class 3 Driving Licence required.

• Carry out watersampling for environmental testing per SOPs.
• Ensure documentation and timely records updates.

• Remain contactable during standby duty.

Job description

Key roles and responsibilities

• Carry out watersampling for environmental testing based on scheduled and ad-hoc assignments,in accordance with in-house SOPs and established sampling techniques.
• Ensure properdocumentation and timely updating of records at the end of each working day.
• Maintain safetystandards and comply with all Safe Work Procedures.
• Always remaincontactable when assigned standby duty.

Skills & Experience

• Diploma in anydiscipline from local or overseas polytechnics or educational institutions.Candidates from Chemical, Environmental, or Engineering-related fields willhave an advantage.
• Candidates with or without working experience are welcome to apply, as training will be provided. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• ITE / O-Level graduates with good science knowledge and experience in environmental sampling or fieldwork are welcome.
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Physically fit, self-motivated, a team player with initiative, willingness to learn, and good communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and multitask effectively.
• Able to work on non-working day when required by operational needs.
• Possess a valid Class 3Driving License.
