Job description

Site Supervisor (Exp as Construction Supervisor/M&E/Class 3)

1. Monitor the progress of ongoing projects within the assigned region to ensure timely execution.

2. Coordinate with main contractors and relevant stakeholders to effectively carry out project scopes.

3. Work closely with the Assistant Operations Manager (AOM) to ensure smooth operational workflows and continuously improve departmental processes.

4force strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain work quality and minimize rectification costs.

5. Assign tasks to foremen and workers based on project requirements.

6. Ensure full compliance with ISO standards, including:

• Verifying that all workers are properly trained and certified for their respective tasks.
• Participating in risk assessments and ensuring the implementation and maintenance of risk control measures.
• Ensuring strict compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Investigating accidents, incidents, and non-conformities thoroughly.
• Conducting Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) inspections and reporting findings to the AOM.
• Enforcing the use of the permit-to-work system.
• Communicating risk assessments and safe work procedures clearly to all affected personnel.
• Inspecting work areas before commencement to eliminate foreseeable hazards.

7. Conduct daily toolbox meetings to brief and engage workers.

8. Prepare and submit rectification reports to the AOM for documentation and analysis.

9. Compile and submit monthly repair cost reports to the Area Operations Manager to provide visibility on maintenance expenditures.

10. Enforce safety protocols and cleanliness standards to maintain a safe and orderly work environment.

11. Foster a positive and supportive work culture by motivating and uplifting colleagues and subordinates.

12. Encourage innovative thinking among workers to improve efficiency, including exploring alternatives to manual labor through new machinery, tools, or equipment.

13. Supervise batching plant operations, ensuring accurate chemical dosing according to mix designs. Maintain equipment in good working order to prevent batching delays and ensure concrete quality meets on-site standards.
