Job summary

Gain City Group of Companies is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor (Electrical) to oversee the installation, testing and commissioning of electrical works on construction sites in Singapore. You will supervise in-house electricians and subcontractors, ensure work meets safety, quality, and project schedules, and coordinate with project teams.

This role requires strong knowledge of codes and standards and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or technical certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of electrical construction experience.
• Experience supervising electrical installation projects.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
• Ability to read construction/electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily electrical installation activities at construction site.
• Coordinate electrical work with PMs, engineers and other trades.
• Plan, schedule and assign work to electricians and subcontractors.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and specs.
• Prepare site reports and QA/QC checks.
• Mentor and evaluate electrical staff.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor (Electrical) to supervise the installation, testing and commissioning of electrical works in construction projects. This role ensures that all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in compliance with project specifications, electrical codes, and company quality standards. The supervisor manages in-house electricians and subcontractors, coordinates with other construction teams, and ensures a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Implementation & Coordination

• Supervisor daily electrical installation activities at construction site.
• Coordinate electrical work with project managers, engineers, architects, and other trades.
• Plan, schedule, and assign work to electricians and electrical subcontractors.
• Read and Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
• Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for site activities.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical or installation issues.
• Coordinate material deliveries and verify quantities received.
• Monitor installation progress to ensure compliance with project schedules.
• Monitor productivity and maintain daily site reports.
• Assist in testing and commissioning activities
• Maintain accurate daily reports, inspection records, and project documentation.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate electrical personnel.

Quality Control

• Ensure all electrical installations comply with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Ensure works follow local codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Implement QA/QC procedures and rectify non-conformities.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks before work handover.

Ensure Site Safety and Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health (WSH) requirements.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings for site workers.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education & Certifications

• Diploma, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology or a related field

Technical Skills

• Minimium 5-10 years of electrical construction experience, including minimum 3 years of experience supervising electrical installation projects.
• Experience supervising commercial, industrial, or residential construction projects.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems, construction practices, and applicable electrical codes.
• Ability to read construction and electrical shop drawings.
• Familiar with local codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in project management tools and MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD/BIM is an advantage.
