Job summary

A leading construction company in Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer to manage project information flow, ensure quality and safety standards, and oversee project planning and reporting. The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and have preferably 2-3 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates are also welcome as training will be provided, emphasizing proactive problem-solving skills and teamwork. The role offers a 5.5-day working week based in the West.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• Preferably 2-3 years relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Team player with the right attitude, hardworking, and resourceful.
• Proactive in solving client’s issues.

Responsibilities

• Establish success criteria for the project.
• Identify and ensure quality, safety, health and environment issues.
• Project planning and detailed project plan production.
• Manage project information flow between team and client.
• Prepare formal project progress reports.
• Interface with client and consultants at all project stages.
• Ensure prompt invoicing and monitor project financial status.
• Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job description

Responsible :

• Establish success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters.
• Identify and ensure awareness of quality, safety, health and environment issues.
• Project planning, including producing the detailed project plan.
• Manage the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications.
• Prepare formal project progress and other reports.
• Interface with the client and other consultants, at all project stages.
• Ensure prompt invoicing and monitor the project financial status.
• Any adhoc duties that assign.

Requirements :

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or in related fields.
• Preferably 2-3 years relevant experience in construction industry
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Team player with the right attitude, hardworking and resourceful.
• Proactive in solving client’s issues.
• Fresh graduates are welcome as training will be provided.
• Candidates with more than 8 years experience and completed various projects may consider for senior position.
• Working days: 5.5days (Alternate Sat)
