Site Supervisor (Water Treatment Operations)
Supervise and coordinate daily plant operations, including water intake, treatment, distribution, and waste management.
Monitor process parameters, equipment performance, and water quality to ensure compliance with operating standards.
Plan, assign, and supervise the work of plant operators, mechanics, and technicians.
Conduct inspections of treatment units, pumps, valves, filters, and chemical dosing systems.
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities in coordination with maintenance teams.
Review and approve work permits, ensure safety compliance, and enforce operational procedures.
Troubleshoot plant issues and coordinate corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate records of production, chemical usage, water quality data, and maintenance activities.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
Train, mentor, and evaluate plant personnel to ensure skill development and high performance.
Support commissioning, plant shutdown, and emergency response activities.
Liaise with engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies as needed.
Education: Diploma in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of experience in water or wastewater treatment operations, including at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or lead role.
Skills:
Strong understanding of water treatment processes (filtration, disinfection, clarification, etc.).
Ability to interpret P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and technical manuals.
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Familiarity with ISO, OSHA, or local environmental and safety regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
