A construction company in Singapore is looking for a Supervisor to oversee site operations and worker management. The role involves ensuring safety compliance, coordinating with contractors and clients, and maintaining quality standards on-site. Candidates should be prepared for long hours and potential night or weekend shifts. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of construction workflows.

Responsibilities

• Supervise works on site as well as workers.
• Understand thoroughly the scope of works and project requirements.
• Cooperate with safety personnel and ensure workplace safety at all times.
• Coordinate and liaise with main contractor and client.
• Assist engineer and project manager on all tasks related to project(s) assigned.
• Able to interpret drawings correctly and execute the works according to drawings.
• Able to prepare bar bending schedule (BBS).
• Ensure that work is executed up to acceptable standard of workmanship and quality.
• Monitor and control workers. Ensure their attendance and efficiency are up to standard.
• Attend coordination meeting with main contractor and client.
• Record and update work progress daily and frequently.
• Control and minimise wastage of material.
• Maintain and take care all electrical tools and equipment deployed on site.
• Long working hour, night shift work or work on weekend as and when required.
• Other ad hoc duties assigned by superiors.
