Job summary

A construction engineering firm in Singapore seeks an experienced individual to coordinate and supervise subcontractors and in-house workers. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications, assisting in daily project operations, and maintaining work progress records. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with additional certifications being advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Candidate with relevant certificate will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise the work of subcontractors and in-house workers.
  • Understand and ensure compliance with project requirements and scope of work.
  • Co-operate with safety personnel to ensure adherence to Workplace Safety & Health.
  • Assist PM and Project Engineers with the execution of works.
  • Ensure installation is carried out as per construction drawings.
  • Execute work within acceptable standards and strict deadlines.
  • Perform routine inspections of safety, equipment, and materials.
  • Monitor the progress and quality of work.
  • Attend daily toolbox meetings and convey instructions.
  • Maintain and update work progress records.
  • Responsible for materials and manpower planning on site.
  • Other ad hoc duties assigned day to day (Night shift required).

Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of subcontractors and in-house workers
  • Understand and ensure compliance with project requirements and scope of work.
  • Co-operate with safety personnel always ensure adherence to Workplace Safety & Health at all times.
  • Assist PM and Project Engineers on the daily execution of permanent and temporary works such as road diversion, drainage and pavement work and etc.
  • Ensure installation is carried out as per construction drawings
  • Ensure that work is executed within an acceptable standard of workmanship with observation of strict deadlines.
  • Perform safety, equipment, materials routine inspection
  • To monitor the progress and quality of work being performed by workers.
  • Attend daily toolbox meeting and convey clear instruction accordingly.
  • Maintain and update work progress records, housekeeping and prepare reports.
  • Responsible for materials and manpower planning usage at site.
  • Other ad hoc duties assigned day to day. (Night shift required)
