Job summary

A cleaning services company in Singapore is looking for a Safety Coordinator to ensure compliance with safety regulations and manage safety training for cleaning staff. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Workplace Safety & Health and 1–3 years of experience in safety coordination, preferably in the cleaning or facilities management industry. Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, monitoring chemical safety, and implementing safe work procedures across multiple cleaning sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in safety coordination, preferably in cleaning/FM industry.
• Knowledge of risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety inspections.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and client requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement Safe Work Procedures.
• Carry out regular site safety inspections and rectify unsafe conditions.
• Provide safety induction and training to staff and subcontractors.
• Manage chemical safety, including SDS and proper handling.
• Investigate accidents and prepare reports.
