Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer Graduate for the Global SRE program (GMPT) with a 2027 start. Located in Singapore, you will join the Ads Infrastructure team to build and operate large-scale, fault-tolerant advertising systems worldwide.

You will design reliability architectures, DR solutions, and capacity plans while developing tools for monitoring, incident response, and resource management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Expertise in Unix/Linux operating systems and IP networking.
• Experience programming in Python, Go, C, C++, or Java.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ownership and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own the reliability of ByteDance's global advertising systems and design reliability architecture.
• Design, implement, validate and optimize global disaster recovery solutions for ads systems and lead incident response.
• Manage infrastructure capacity for ads systems and improve utilization through performance optimization.
• Develop reliability platforms and engineering tools including monitoring, SLO management, risk governance and resource management.

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) of Ads Infrastructure team works on building and running large-scale, globally distributed, fault-tolerant ads systems.SRE keeps ads systems at ByteDance up and running with the highest level of availability, ensuring our usershave the best and fastest experience possible.In the SRE team, you will build and improve multiple large scale ads services, while using your expertise incoding, performance optimization, troubleshooting, etc.We are looking for talented individuals to join our team. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications- Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a Bachelor's/ Master' degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.- Expertise in Unix/Linux operating systems, IP networking.- Experience programming in at least one of the following programnning languages: Python, Go, C, C++, or Java.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a strong sense of ownership, and excellent communication and collaboration skills,Preferred Qualifications- Experience in SRE of ads/recommendation systems.- Experience designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
