Job summary

MSCI Singapore seeks a Release Engineer to own the end-to-end release, monitoring, and operational architecture of an Azure-hosted SaaS platform. You will collaborate with development, QA and business teams in an Agile Release Train, designing and operating a next-gen CI/CD pipeline to ensure high availability and performance.

The role is hands-on and client-facing, with regular client-site engagements. Ideal candidates have cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP), strong SQL skills, shell scripting,

Qualifications

• Singapore national required due to security clearance requirements.
• Degree in IT or related fields from a recognized institution.
• Familiarity with cloud computing technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP) and current computing trends.
• Expertise with relational databases, preferably SQL.
• Experience in shell scripting (Windows/Linux).
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.

Your Team Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of release, monitoring design and implementation, operational architecture and ultimately responsible for the availability and performance of an Azure hosted SaaS platform. You will partner with development, QA and business teams as part of the Agile Release Train ensuring sustained value delivery with high availability and performance. You will be hands‑on, you will participate in the overall design, implementation and operation of a next‑gen CI/CD pipeline, you will be a proactive owner of the holistic solution and end user experience. This team will be directly client facing, and work on our client site regularly, partnering with our clients’ technology teams to deliver and maintain a highly secure, available and performant platform.
