Role

Site Operations Supervisor – Building / Construction, Full Time, Executive

About Us

We are one of the largest one-stop Underground Utilities Infrastructure companies based in Singapore. We provide Underground Utilities Infrastructure construction and maintenance, sewer pipeline rehabilitation, road and airfield construction and maintenance as well as asphalt pre-mix production and construction waste recycling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Works
    • Conduct site survey prior to work starting and confirm work starting date
    • Lead several site teams for site work related to water services such as pipe laying and urgent repair at different locations in Singapore
    • Handle minor public relations matters such as serving notices and responding to minor complains related to site works
    • Ensure compliance to planned job documents
  • Team Management
    • Identify team members/workers\' performance and skills gap
    • Conduct training or seek Project Team\'s assistance to send for training to address the gap
    • Review and where necessary, plan for team members/workers\' career progression
  • Safety
    • Champion safe work practices on site
    • Ensure all safety rules and regulations are strictly adhered to during site operations
    • Ensure teams strictly comply to safety rules and regulations, and to take enforcement action without prejudice for any non-compliance
  • Partnership with Project Team
    • Work with Project team to schedule work
    • Together with project team, ensure all resources such as manpower and machinery are strategically deployed
    • Analyze and identify all performance related issues and ensure appropriate steps to prevent loss
    • Analyze all opportunities and recommend ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Qualifications
  • Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in site operations or a related field, preferably in water services or civil engineering projects.
  • Strong knowledge of site work processes, including pipe laying and urgent repair operations.
  • Good understanding of safety regulations and ability to enforce safety compliance on site.
  • Ability to conduct site surveys and manage scheduling in collaboration with project teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and capability to analyze operational efficiency and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to handle public relations and coordinate with various stakeholders.
  • Proactive in identifying skills gaps and supporting team training and development.
  • Possession of a valid Class 2 or 3 driving license is an advantage (to support site mobility).

  • Work Schedule: 6-day work week
  • Location: Office at No. 3 Sungei Kadut Drive, Singapore 729556 (North Singapore)
