Overview
As a Site Manager (Construction), you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of construction projects in Singapore. This full-time position requires excellent project management skills, extensive experience in the construction industry, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Supervise and lead a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and engineers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
- Develop and implement detailed project plans, schedules, and strategies to optimize productivity and resource allocation
- Monitor and report on project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies
- Liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to provide regular updates and address any concerns
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of construction processes and procedures
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Manager or Project Manager in the construction industry
- Proven track record of successfully delivering construction projects on time and within budget
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills
- Strong understanding of construction techniques, building codes, and project management methodologies
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
