Job description

Responsibilities

• Manage and plan the construction project.
• Laying down the preferred construction methods.
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
• Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
• Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
• Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
• Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities
• Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues

Requirements and skills

• At least 15 years related working experience in Building Construction
• In-depth understanding of RC structure work, expert in Formwork and Rebar.
• Well known in construction procedures and material and project management principles
• Working hours 6 days per week
• Available to work Night shift when needed.
• Available to work on weekends, when site need.
• Strong construction background to discuss and advise technical matters with Main and Sub Contractors.
• Excellent Communication skills and highly organized, driven and conscientious.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin in order to communicate and engage with Mandarin speaking customers
