Job summary

GSK is seeking a senior leader to drive the deployment and embedding of the GSK Production System (GPS) at the Tuas Vaccines site in Singapore. You will report to the Site Director and collaborate with the Site Leadership Team to improve safety, quality, service and cost, coaching others and building capability to deliver measurable benefits.

This on-site role with hybrid options requires practical leadership, strong Stakeholder engagement, and hands-on GPS deployment across a regulated

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, business or related discipline; equivalent industry experience.
• 10+ years leading manufacturing, quality or engineering operations with continuous improvement in regulated manufacturing.
• Lean Six Sigma tools knowledge; Green Belt certification required.
• Proven coaching and capability-building skills for leaders and teams.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Experience in project planning, governance and delivering measurable benefits.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

You will lead the deployment and embedding of the GSK Production System (GPS) at our Tuas Vaccines site. You will report to the Site Director and work closely with the Site Leadership Team to drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, service and cost. Responsibilities

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

• Lead and coach a team of GPS practitioners and Smart Manufacturing team to deploy GPS / Smart Manufacturing and build capability across the site.
• Work with site leadership to translate strategy into focused GPS workstreams and measurable targets.
• Run site self-assessments against GPS maturity matrices and lead action plans to close gaps.
• Design and deliver training, coaching and hands‑on improvement projects to embed continuous improvement behaviours.
• Govern site improvement activity through the GPS council, reporting outcomes and tracking benefits.
• Use data, digital tools and analytics to strengthen improvement work and reduce waste.

Basic Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, business or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum 10 years experience leading manufacturing or quality or engineering operations, with demonstrated experience leading continuous improvement in a regulated manufacturing environment
• Practical knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma tools; Green Belt certification or equivalent required.
• Proven coaching and capability‑building skills with experience training leaders and teams
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills with ability to influence senior leaders.
• Experience in project planning, governance and delivering measurable benefits.

Preferred Qualification

• Degree in a STEM subject or advanced professional qualification.
• Black Belt certification or advanced continuous improvement training.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biopharma or other highly regulated industries.
• Track record of embedding strategy deployment or Hoshin planning at site level.
• Experience applying digital tools, automation or data analytics to improvement work.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing people performance.

Working model

This role is on‑site in Singapore with hybrid working options to be agreed with site leadership. You will be expected to spend regular time on the manufacturing floor and attend in‑person leadership and GPS council meetings. Some regional travel may be required.
