Job summary

A construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee construction activities, liaise with engineers and consultants, and ensure compliance with project schedules and quality standards. Candidates should have at least 1 year of relevant experience, hold a BCSS certificate, and preferably possess a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field. Overtime may be required as necessary.

Job Description & Requirements

• Overseeing the construction activities and progress, planning, implementation and monitoring work schedules in accordance to the master and detailed work programme
• Liaise with Professional Engineer on the Temporary works
• Liaise with consultants (QPS) for technical issues and coordinate the site activities with subcontractors
• Handing of technical and engineering problems
• Provide guidance to supervisors in relation to construction works, ensure progress according to schedule, quality standards are maintained site inspections are carried out and technical issues are resolved on time
• Prepare report and method statement for site activity
• Manage and control workers and monitor their work closely to keep the site safer and neat
• Supervise ongoing site activities closely

Requirements

• At least 1 year relevant experience in construction projects
• BCSS certificate
• Bachelor Degree in civil engineering or relevant major is preferred.
• May be required to work overtime when necessary.
