Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy is looking for a Site Engineer in Singapore. The role involves coordinating with subcontractors, verifying compliance with engineering specifications, and assisting in project planning. The candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structure Engineering. Working hours are Monday to Friday, with potential half-day work on Saturdays. A competitive salary of $3800 to $5400 is offered, depending on experience and project requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with consultants/subcontractors on project documentation.
  • Attend project/technical meetings to resolve site issues.
  • Verify work done complies with approved drawings/specifications.
  • Resolve site issues with contractors/suppliers ASAP.
  • Ensure documentation is ready for ISO audit.
  • Cooperate with safety department on assigned duties.
  • Assist site management in project planning & coordination.
  • Plan and schedule construction operations.
  • Prepare documents for authorities’ submission.
  • Study tender/construction drawings to understand project requirements.
  • Guide new/junior staff.

Site Engineer

Salary: $3800 to $5400
Working Days: Monday – Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm | Saturday may need to work half day depends on project (Can claim OT)
Working Location: Seletar

Job Scopes
  • To coordinate with consultants / subcontractors on the shop drawings / samples / method statements and keep all involved parties updated of the latest changes.
  • To attend project / technical meetings and resolve site issues with owner / consultants for the site progress to proceed smoothly.
  • To verify the work done on site is in accordance with the approved drawings / specifications / authority’s requirement and ensure that the subcontractor carries out rectification for non‑compliance.
  • To resolve site issues with consultants / subcontractors / suppliers ASAP to minimise delay to the construction progress.
  • To ensure that the related documentation is updated and ready for ISO audit.
  • To cooperate with the safety department and carry out the assigned duties within the safety framework.
  • Assist site management team in project planning & coordination.
  • Plan and schedule work sequences for construction operation.
  • Arrange and prepare documents for authorities’ submission for Conquas, RI, TOP etc.
  • To study tender / construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to understand project requirements.
  • Understanding of critical project criteria related to schedule & productivity.
  • Able to provide guidance to new staff / junior staff.
