Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is looking for a Civil Engineer to manage site activities and ensure compliance with standards. Responsibilities include planning work schedules, liaising with engineers and subcontractors, and preparing necessary reports. Candidates must have a Civil Engineering degree recognized by the Singapore PE Board and should preferably have experience in LTA road projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by Singapore PE Board is mandatory.
• Registered Resident Engineer with IES/BCA certification required.
• Experience in LTA road projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule work in accordance with the master and detailed work program.
• Liaise with Professional Engineer on the Temporary works.
• Prepare reports and method statements whenever necessary.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule work in accordance with the master and detailed work program
• Liaise with Professional Engineer on the Temporary works.
• Liaise with consultants (QPS) for technical issues and coordinate site activities with subcontractors.
• Handle technical and engineering problems.
• Provide guidance to supervisors in relation to construction works and ensure work progress according to schedule.
• Maintain quality standards, carry out site inspections and resolve technical issues on time.
• Prepare reports and method statements whenever necessary.
• Manage workers and monitor their work closely to keep the site safe and neat.
• Supervise ongoing site activities closely.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by Singapore PE Board
• Registered Resident Engineer with IES/BCA with valid certification in Singapore
• Experience in LTA road projects is preferred.
• Experienced as a PE assignee for standing supervision of works.
• Ability to communicate well with project principal and subcontractors.
