Job summary

A construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Site Engineer to assist the Project Manager in supervising site activities and managing multiple technical aspects of projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering, at least one year of relevant experience, and a strong team orientation. The role offers opportunities for involvement in significant construction efforts and requires coordination with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in A&A works, civil engineering, or earthworks.
  • Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager in supervising and managing site activities.
  • Plan, schedule, forecast, conduct, and coordinate both technical and management aspects of projects.
  • Monitor and control material and labour costs.
  • Coordinate and review engineering deliverables.
  • Attend site meetings, inspections, and monitor project progress with main contractors and sub-contractors.
  • Liaise and coordinate with consultants, main contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, and relevant government bodies.
  • Oversee day-to-day project execution and resolve construction-related issues promptly.
  • Ensure quality control and assurance to meet project objectives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
  • Enforce safe work procedures to manage and control risks.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
