- Managing parts of constructionprojects
- Overseeing construction work
- Checking technical designs anddrawings for accuracy and toensure that they are followedcorrectly
- Ensuring project packages meetagreed specifications, budgetsand/or timescales
- Supervising contracted staff
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors,local authority employees, architectsand other professionals, especiallyquantity surveyors and the overallproject manager.
- Providing technical advice andsolving problems on site
- Ensuring that health and safety andsustainability policies and legislationare adhered to.
