Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering is required.
• Experience in civil/structural construction is preferred.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and translate to site instructions.
• BCSS safety certification and supervisory certifications (RES, SSLO, MWAH, SMSE) are required.

Responsibilities

• Review approved drawings, specs, and method statements to guide site teams.
• Plan and coordinate daily site activities including manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Monitor progress against the work programme and report delays with corrective actions.
• Inspect work for compliance and arrange inspections and follow-up on defects.
• Collaborate with main contractors, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors on interfaces.
• Prepare daily progress reports, site records, photos, and material tracking docs.
• Coordinate with safety teams to implement risk assessments and permits.
• Assist with site measurements, as-built docs, and project handover materials.

Job Summary

You will coordinate and monitor civil and structural construction works at project sites in Singapore, collaborating with project managers, site supervisors, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and timely completion.

Responsibilities

• Review approved drawings, specifications, and method statements to communicate clear work requirements to supervisors and site teams
• Plan and coordinate daily site activities including manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor deployment to optimize workflow
• Monitor construction progress against the work programme, identify delays, and report issues with proposed corrective actions
• Inspect work for compliance with approved drawings and specifications, arrange inspections, and follow up on defects or outstanding items
• Collaborate with main contractors, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve technical queries and site interface challenges
• Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, site records, photographs, inspection documents, and material tracking records
• Coordinate with the safety team to implement risk assessments, safe work procedures, and permit requirements
• Assist with site measurements, as-built documentation, and project handover materials

Required competencies and certifications

• BCSS safety certification and relevant supervisory certifications such as RES, SSLO, MWAH, and SMSE

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline
• Experience in civil or structural construction, preferably with structural steel, covered linkways, bus shelters, or pedestrian overhead bridges
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and translate technical requirements into clear site instructions
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Willingness to work at assigned project sites across Singapore
